Zirconium-lined tundish upper nozzle

When casting slabs and blooms, the tundish usually uses a stopper system to control the flow of molten steel, and the injection rate of molten steel from the tundish to the crystallizer is mainly controlled by adjusting the gap between the stopper and the nozzle on the tundish. During the whole casting process, there will be some erosion and scouring of the bowl on the nozzle of the plug rod and the middle package. When the contact surface of the two has abnormal erosion and cannot guarantee the proper injection speed of molten steel, it can no longer be used. Therefore, the quality of the nozzle on the tundish has an important impact on the service life of the entire tundish.
